5 IDEAS: 5 Luxury Traditional Style Bedrooms
I am always on the lookout for Luxury Bedroom decor ideas, whether they are traditional designs or something a little more eclectic, so I thought today I would share some of my favorite traditional bedroom designs. Some of these are Los Angeles interior design clients, some are Northern California , but they all have a luxury traditional style that is both inviting and full of warmth. Clearly, I do like a beautiful canopy bed, but a strong sensual shape or great interior architecture (both hallmarks of our leading interior design team) is also a common element to all of these glamorous designs. This beautiful room was created for an English Style home with a custom designed rug inspired by William Morris. The silk canopy bed is lined with a metallic sheer that creates an ephemeral feel that transports you and makes for the ultimate luxury bedroom experience.

It is not always about the canopy for me. This sensuous carved wood frame bed with Velvet upholstery is equally luxurious and of course if you add the fox fur throw and layered Murano Glass table lamp it certainly qualifies for this list.

With a wood four poster bed and a wonderful printed linen design, this blue and white traditional bedroom is a little more simple than some of the others, but layered with an antique carved blanket chest and a large spacious room this bedroom is still a great example of luxury bedroom design.

Sometimes it’s just about how you can create a backdrop that sets a mood for the whole room. The deep stained oak paneled wall in this room creates the perfect backdrop for the upholstered headboard and transitional tables. The rich color palette of Lavender and deep red only build on the luxury with an eclectic touch with the horn chandelier completing the look.

Not all Canopy beds need to be regal and enveloping, this sheer linen one has a bit of a modern edge and turns this room into a serene retreat with a translucent fabric tent anchored by carved wood furniture.
