Spring is officially here, and how frustrating is it to find out that the perfect patio you are putting together is impossible because everything seems to be back ordered, often for months. Well, Nichole and I have put together a design for a patio that we love using only things that are currently in stock. We used as our design inspiration, a luxury outdoor room we created for a client in Atherton. It was modern home, but with a true sense of relaxed casual elegance, so you could use the design for a more traditional or transitional home too.
Sectional Sofa
We started our design off with a great outdoor sectional sofa. This grey teak piece of outdoor upholstery is the perfect thing for lounging on a Saturday afternoon, or hosting a group on a Sunday morning. The x-back design gives it a cool transitional feel that will suit most design styles.

Lounge Chairs
As much as we love a good sectional, there are times when you just need a comfortable and stylish lounge chair and these certainly fit the bill. The grey frame is accented with bronze finished legs and deep grey cushion. We like to furnish an outdoor space in a similar way we would a regular room, by mixing up styles and shapes, no matching suites of furniture for us.

I really like the open weave frame, it gives them a lighter, more transparent kind of feel, and the white horizontal stripe creates a cool, hip dining chair for not a huge amount of money.
