Creating a Whimsical Ocean View French Inspired Tea Pavilion

By Mark Cutler

When it comes to designing an outdoor tea pavilion, there's nothing quite as enchanting as a French-inspired space with an ocean view. At Cutlerschulze, we recently had the pleasure of bringing this dreamy vision to life for one of our clients, and we're excited to share the process with you today!

First, let's talk about the location. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the ocean, this tea pavilion was designed to take full advantage of the breathtaking views. We knew that the space needed to be open and airy to let in as much natural light and fresh sea breeze as possible.

Next, it was time to start thinking about the design. We knew that we wanted to keep the overall look and feel of the space light and whimsical, with a nod to the classic French gardens of the past. We chose a color palette of soft pastels and white, with lots of natural elements like wicker and wood to bring that beachy vibe to the space.

Of course, no outdoor tea pavilion would be complete without the perfect furnishings, and that's where Mackenzie-Childs came in. Their furniture is not only beautiful but also built to last. Their designs are so unique and elegant that it added an extra touch of luxury to the space.

The end result? A tea pavilion that's as enchanting as it is functional, perfect for hosting everything from intimate tea parties to large gatherings with friends and family. If you're looking to create a similar space in your own backyard, we hope this post has given you some inspiration. At Cutlerschulze, we specialize in luxury interior design and would love to help you bring your outdoor tea pavilion dreams to life."
